Dear Teachers

My name is Marie Redmond and I have been offering elective programs for the past 5 years to schools in the area.
I'm happy to announce that each year more and more students sign up for my polymer clay classes.

Polymer clay resembles and feels like plasticine but it is baked in an ordinary oven where it cures rock hard and becomes
extremely durable.  It comes in an array of wonderful colours so painting is not necessary.  I do not mind taking projects home with me to
bake and then return them back to your school the next day.

Please take a look at some of the sample projects on this page.  Some may look too advanced for your students, but don't let that fool you.
I work with the students step by step and they are absolutely thrilled with their finished artwork.  Parents are always telling me how much their
children have enjoyed the class.  This artwork will be displayed proudly for many many years to come.       These projects are completed
by hand......no molds are used.  I explain how each sculpture is 'built up' and 'textured' using special tools provided by me.

Projects may include animal figurines, snowmen, glass votive covered in clay, switch plates, clay covered pens, picture frames etc.
I will be happy to meet with you and to discuss what projects are right for your school.

Projects vary with programs, depending on time frame allowed. I can  'gear' my program to your curriculum.  These projects require
a great deal of prep time on my part, therefore I need confirmation from each school as soon as possible.  Please view samples of
projects below.  You can also see some seasonal projects by clicking on the 'polymer clay class' link above.
